SPC Evan J. Vaillancourt, 21, U.S. Army, born October 23, 2001, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2022. Vaillancourt was a Combat Medic with 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, and deployed to Poland during the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. There, he provided aid to soldiers and civilians injured and displaced by the war. Vaillancourt's true passion was helping others, and there is a memorial scholarship in his name for those interested in pursuing a career in nursing. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
