SPC Eli J. Reed, 21, Iowa Army National Guard, born in Iowa November 20, 2000, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2022. Reed was an Infantryman with 1st Battalion, 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Red Bull Infantry Division. He completed Army Ranger School, Airborne training, and earned a degree in Criminal Justice with the aim of becoming a Federal Law Enforcement Agent. Reed was a dedicated, strong-willed man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed football, wrestling, and spending time with his loved ones. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
