SPC Dustin R. Hartley, 23, U.S. Army, born September 25, 1981, passed away in a
car accident on April 25, 2005. After 9/11, Hartley joined the Army and served with
1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He deployed for
Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he drove a Bradley Fighting Vehicle and was part
of several missions where large enemy weapon caches were seized. Hartley was a
big man with an even bigger heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and driving his
1999 Mustang Cobra SVT Convertible. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
