In Memory OfSPC Douglas E. Kashmer

SPC Douglas E. Kashmer, 27, U.S. Army, born July 20, 1977, passed away in a non- combat incident on June 8, 2005. Kashmer was a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic with 70th Transportation Company in Iraq. There, he helped recover and repair vehicles and deliver supplies to U.S. ground troops. Kashmer was someone his brothers-in-arms could rely on for help, regardless of how tough times got. He is remembered for his positivity and no-quit attitude, which never failed to inspire those around him. For his service, he earned a Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
