SPC Denisha M. Montgomery-Smith, 27, U.S. Army, born in Kentucky May 31, 1995, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2022. Montgomery-Smith served as an MP with 139th MP Company and deployed to Germany. There, she was stationed in Wiesbaden, where she was tasked with guarding the base and maintaining order. Montgomery-Smith was a patriotic woman with a heart of gold. She was a fiercely loyal friend, a loving wife, and a fantastic mother. For her service, Montgomery-Smith was posthumously promoted to Specialist. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Sister!
