SP5 Michael A. DeBonis, 54, U.S. Army, born in New York September 7, 1950, passed away from health complications on March 22, 2005. DeBonis served as an Air Frame Repairman and deployed to Vietnam. There, he was tasked with repairing our bullet-riddled transport and attack helicopters so they could get back in the air to fight the enemy. DeBonis enjoyed hunting, shooting darts, and could play a mean game of corks. The only thing he loved more than the camaraderie he felt with his fellow veterans was his family. Rest easy, Soldier!
