In Memory OfSP4 Timothy R. Lang Sr.

SPC Timothy R. Lang Sr., 73, U.S. Army, born February 11, 1951, in Bakersfield, CA, passed away from cancer on May 28, 2024. Inducted in 1969, Lang served a highly decorated 14-month tour in Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division and 1st Cavalry Division (Air Assault) as a Field Artillery Mechanic. He earned the Bronze Star Medal and two Army Commendation Medals for his distinguished service. After his discharge in 1970, Lang settled in southeastern Oklahoma and worked for Young Oil Company. He was a member of the American Legion and found joy in the outdoors, especially birdwatching and feeding squirrels. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
