July 3, 1947 - February 22, 1968

SP4 Ronald L. Hill, 20, U.S. Army, born in Pennsylvania July 3, 1947, was killed in action on February 22, 1968. Hill was an Infantryman with 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. During the Battle of Hill 66, his unit was sent to the Củ Chi area to clear out the network tunnels being utilized by the Viet Cong and NVA. While attempting to secure a fighting position, Hill passed away after being struck by enemy fire. For his service, he earned three Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero!
