In Memory OfSP4 Pete Hicks

SP4 Pete Hicks, 79, U.S. Army, born in Czechoslovakia March 7, 1945, passed away on October 27, 2024. Hicks served with 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) and deployed to Vietnam twice. During the war, he conducted air assault operations to bring U.S. troops into combat zones in areas inaccessible to ground vehicles. Hicks was proud to have had the opportunity to fight for his adoptive country. He was a man with a strong moral compass who never took life for granted. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
