SP4 Ervin J. E. Lykans, 68, U.S. Army, born in March 9, 1948, passed away from Agent Orange-related health complications on April 28, 2016. Lykans was a UH-1 Aviation Mechanic with 173rd Assault Helicopter Company in the Vietnam War. There, he was tasked with maintaining his unit's Huey Helicopters, ensuring they were combat-ready at all times. Lykans is remembered as a true patriot who was honored to have had the opportunity to serve our country. He was a loving husband, a fantastic father, and, by far, the favorite grandfather. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
