SP3 Albert H. DesMarais, 71, U.S. Army, born March 12, 1933, passed away on March 4, 2005. During the Cold War, DesMarais served as a cook at Fort Carson. There, he ensured the base always got three square meals to give them the energy needed as they trained to become part of the greatest fighting force on the planet. After the Army, DesMarias began a career as a repairman with U.S. West Inc., working hard to support his family for 32 years. He was a devoted family man who always went the extra mile for his loved ones. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
