In Memory OfSP4 Fred A. Edwards

SP4 Fred A. Edwards, 76, U.S. Army, born in Illinois December 5, 1946, passed away on November 3, 2023. Edwards served as a Field Artillery Crewman with 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment, 198th Light Infantry Brigade in Vietnam. There, he was based out of Chu Lai and responsible for providing fire support to weaken enemy forces prior to and during combat operations. Edwards was an outgoing family man of faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping his grandchildren earn merit badges in the Boy Scouts. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
