SP4 Donald W. Johnson, 68, U.S. Army, born in North Dakota November 21, 1950, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2019. Johnson heroically served as part of an Infantry unit in the Vietnam War. His unit frequently saw combat on the front lines as they fought the spread of Communism in Asia. After the war, Johnson returned to North Dakota and worked on the family farm before beginning a career in plumbing. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a great friend. For his service, he earned the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
