In Memory OfSO2 Shapoor A Ghane Jr.

SO2 Shapoor A. Ghane Jr., 22, U.S. Navy, born in California July 21, 1985, passed away in a training accident on January 30, 2008. After 9/11, Ghane felt compelled to defend our country and set out to become a Navy SEAL. His abilities as a marksman, a medic, and his fluency in Farsi made him a true asset to SEAL Team 5, but he passed away in a Close Combat exercise before deploying. Ghane was a kind, funny man who put others before himself. He was a true fighter who wore the trident with pride. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
