In Memory OfSK1 Allen S. Timmerman

SK1 Allen S. Timmerman, 70, U.S. Navy, born January 24, 1952, passed away on September 30, 2022. Timmerman was a Storekeeper on the USS Simon Lake (AS-33) and USS Forrestal (CV-59). At sea, he ensured every department and crew member had essential supplies as we projected our Naval strength in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Timmerman is remembered as a direct man with a great sense of humor who was a welcome addition to any get-together. He was a loving husband, a fantastic father, and a great friend. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
