SGT William W. Crow Jr., 28, U.S. Army, born in FL on February 11, 1979, was killed in action on June 28, 2007. Crow served as a Fire-Team Leader with 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment and deployed to Iraq three times. While conducting a mounted combat patrol to deter insurgent activities in the streets of Baghdad, his vehicle was struck by an IED, and he was severely wounded. His squadmates began to render aid, but Crow passed from his injuries shortly after. For his service, he earned two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
