In Memory OfSGT William J. Simon

SGT William J. Simon, 39, U.S. Army, born May 26, 1972, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2012. Simon served as a Motor Transport Operator with 1st Cavalry Division and deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom. There, he was tasked with moving troops, vehicles, and supplies to where they were needed most in hostile areas across the war-torn country. In addition to his service to our country, Simon was also a Volunteer Firefighter. He was a natural-born and hard-working man who never asked of others what he wouldn't do himself. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
