In Memory OfSGT Robert J. Peet

SGT Robert J. Peet, 56, U.S. Army, born March 2, 1965, passed away from health complications on January 22, 2022. During the Cold War, Peet served as a Combat Engineer with 4th Infantry Division in Germany. There, he constructed fortifications, cleared enemy obstacles, and laid and removed mines to support U.S. mobility and defense. Peet enjoyed camping, winemaking, and was a gifted musician. He is remembered for his wanderlust, passion, and for slapping the bass onstage with popular 90s rock bands Quiet Thunder and Hired Guns. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
