Sgt Rickey J. Menard Jr., 42, U.S.M.C., born in Louisiana June 4, 1981, lost the battle within on November 7, 2023. Menard served with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division in Operation Enduring Freedom – Philippines. There, he was part of a Joint Task Force helping the Philippine military to eradicate terror groups from their country. Menard was a man of many talents and could always find creative solutions to complex problems. His patriotism, work ethic, and generosity made him a man to be admired. Semper Fi, Marine!
