In Memory OfSgt Michael A. Marzano

Sgt Michael A. Marzano, 28, U.S.M.C., born May 18, 1976, was killed in action on May 7, 2005. Marzano was a Rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division and deployed to Iraq. While on a mission in Al Anbar, his unit was attacked by Insurgents who were cowardly hiding in a hospital. Suddenly, a suicide bomber sped an explosive-filled car towards them and detonated. Marzano and three fellow Marines died in the blast. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and has a VA medical clinic in his name. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
