SGT Matthew F. Hurley III, 61, U.S. Army, born February 3, 1945, passed away from Agent Orange-related health complications on August 22, 2006. Hurley was a Communications Center Specialist with Military Intelligence in Vietnam. There, he oversaw security for transporting classified documents, ensuring they were safely delivered to the correct intelligence personnel. Hurley is remembered as a patriotic man who went above and beyond the call of duty. He was a great friend, a loving husband, and a fantastic father. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
