SGT Matthew C. Moran, 23, U.S. Army, born in North Carolina November 18, 1986, was overcome by his demons on April 24, 2010. Moran was a Radio Operator with 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division and deployed twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom. There, he ensured that his unit was in constant communication with other U.S. forces. Moran was a kind man who never met a stranger. He was a huge hockey fan, and the only thing he loved more than the Pittsburg Penguins was his family and friends. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
