In Memory OfSgt Louie O. Perkins Sr.

Sgt Louie O. Perkins Sr., 95, U.S. Air Force, born January 18, 1928, passed away on November 26, 2023. Perkins was an Aerospace Propulsion Power Plant Mechanic with 31st Reconnaissance Squadron, Very Long Range (Photographic, Radar Countermeasures) in the Army Occupation of Japan. There, he maintained the aircraft used in post-WWII strategic recon and mapping operations. Perkins enjoyed hunting, reading, and spending time with his fellow veterans. He was a devoted friend, a loving husband, and a fantastic father. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
