In Memory OfSgt Kirk P. Gadsby

Sgt Kirk P. Gadsby, 25, U.S.M.C., born October 9, 1989, passed away in a car accident on December 13, 2014. Gadsby served with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment deployed to Afghanistan, where his unit played a pivotal role in clearing Taliban forces from a stronghold in the March on Marjah. After the war, he became an Integrated Training Exercise Instructor with the Tactical Training Exercise Control Group at Twentynine Palms. There, Gadsby taught Marines who were about to deploy the skills they needed in battle.
