In Memory OfSGT Jacob H. Young

SGT Jacob H. Young, 22, Texas Army National Guard, born September 10, 1998, passed away in a motorcycle accident on April 26, 2021. Young was an Infantryman with 1st Battalion, 141st Infantry Regiment and was sent to assist CBP operations at the Mexican border. He then deployed to Africa for Operation Enduring Freedom to promote stability through humanitarian efforts as part of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Young is remembered as a dedicated and empathetic man who was always there when you needed a friend. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
