In Memory OfSGT Henry F. Dellecker

SGT Henry F. Dellecker, 19, U.S. Army, born in Illinois September 21, 1952, passed away in a helicopter crash on November 10, 1971. Dellecker was an AH-1 Cobra Helicopter Repairer with 334th Aerial Weapons Company in Vietnam. On a nighttime mission to transport a MACV Advisor and a Vietnamese Officer to an enemy contact site, he was the acting UH-1H Crew Chief. Suddenly, the Huey suffered a catastrophic transmission failure over Gia Định. The aircraft rapidly lost altitude and crashed into the jungle, killing all seven aboard. Rest easy, Soldier!
