In Memory OfSGT Gary L. Warengo

SGT Gary L. Warengo, 74, U.S. Army, born November 18, 1948, passed away on August 3, 2023. Warengo was an Infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 11th Infantry Regiment in Vietnam. His unit was the tip of the spear against NVA and VC forces in the Mekong Delta, one of the war's most hostile locations. Warengo enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Da Bears. He is remembered for his patriotism, bravery, and love he had for his family and friends. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart with two OLC and the Bronze Star with one OLC. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
