SGT & FF August T. Beckwith, 23, New Mexico Army National Guard, Taos F.D., born December 2, 1999, lost the battle within on September 29, 2023. Beckwith was a Combat Medic with 1st Battalion, 200th Infantry Regiment and deployed for Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. There, he helped promote stability and protect U.S. interests. Beckwith next joined with Taos F.D. He brought a new level of camaraderie to the station and will forever be known as the best member of a fire family a person could ask for. Rest easy, Soldier!
