Sgt & Corporal Christopher D. Allen, 55, U.S.M.C., Collier County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), born March 18, 1968, passed away from cancer on January 24, 2024. Allen was Rifleman with 1st Marine Division and sent to Afghanistan and Costa Rica. There, he was part of a Security Guard Battalion that protected U.S. embassies from external threats. Allen then had a career in law enforcement with the CCSO. After being a Patrol Deputy, he became a Financial Crimes Detective and was well-known for his ability to unveil corruption.
