In Memory OfSGM Roberto L. Burrows

SGM Roberto L. Burrows, 40, U.S. Army, born April 13, 1952, was killed in an unprovoked attack in Seoul, South Korea, on August 4, 1992. A career soldier who had dreamed of serving since boyhood, Burrows gave more than two decades to the Army. He was two weeks from his promotion to Command Sergeant Major and returning home to his daughters. He was struck down while doing a simple kindness, helping a woman carry her belongings on a hot day. He is survived by his two daughters, who honor him still. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
