In Memory OfSergeant Joseph H. Kenny

Sergeant Joseph H. Kenny, 79, U.S. Army, Denver P.D. (DPD), born May 23, 1944, lost the battle within on March 10, 2024. Kenny was an Area Intelligence Specialist with 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Vietnam. There, he worked closely with MACV-SOG, conducting covert reconnaissance missions in Cambodia and Laos. Kenny then joined the DPD where, for 25 years, he was a Patrolman, SWAT Team Leader, and founded the K9 Bomb Detection Unit. For his service, he earned the DPD Purple Heart and the DPD Medal of Honor. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
