In Memory OfSergeant James B. McCrystal

Sergeant James B. McCrystal, 47, GA Department of Corrections (GDOC), born April 18, 1968, passed away in the line of duty on July 14, 2015. After 14 years with the New Jersey DOC, McCrystal found his home with the GDOC where he played a variety of roles. He managed inmates, transported prisoners, and was a member of the Correctional Emergency Response Team. McCrystal's most impactful role was training new Officers how to enforce rules, prevent violent inmate incidents, and, most importantly, how to protect themselves. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
