Senior Special Agent Claude A. Medearis, 42, U.S. Customs Service, born July 6, 1953, was killed in the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. Medearis served as a Customs Agent along the U.S. border, helping curb the flow of drugs and weapons into our country. He then transferred to Oklahoma City as the SSAC of their field office. On the morning of the 19th, Medearis stopped by his office to make a phone call when a large bomb detonated outside of the building. He and 167 others perished in the blast. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
