SSgt Drew M. Buxton, 25, U.S. Air Force, Rhode Island Air National Guard, born in
Rhode Island October 30, 1995, lost the battle within on December 23, 2020.
Buxton first served in the Air Force and deployed to Kuwait during Operation
Inherent Resolve. He then joined the Air National Guard and became a Security
Forces Journeyman with 143rd Security Forces Squadron, helping keep order on
base. Buxton worked his way up to Unit Training Manager, teaching the next
generation of Journeymen the skills needed to succeed. Fly high, Airman! Til
