In Memory Of

SSgt David F. Carman, 46, U.S.M.C., born July 13, 1962, passed away
unexpectedly on October 4, 2008. During his 20-years in the Corps, Carman
deployed all over the world, including to the Middle East for the Gulf War and to
Lebanon. While stationed in Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War, he sustained
injuries when a suicide bomber attacked his barracks. Carman is remembered as a
history buff, a great storyteller, and a man who walked to the beat of his own
drum. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla,
Brother!
