In Memory OfPVT & Ofc William D. Bigelow

PVT & Ofc William D. Bigelow, 76, U.S. Army, Prince George’s County Police Department (PGCPD), born August 30, 1948, passed away on September 3, 2024. Bigelow was an MP with 553rd MP Company in the Vietnam War. After his tour, he returned home and joined the D.C. Metro Police Department and later the mounted division of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police. Bigelow then transferred to the PGCPD and served as a Patrol Officer, an Undercover Officer, and a Detective. For his dedication, he earned the Award of Merit. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
