PV2 Jimmie O. Jones, 74, U.S. Army, born in Oklahoma December 1, 1936, passed away on April 4, 2011. Jones served with the 7th Engineer Brigade in the Army Corps of Engineers. He was stationed in Germany and participated in NATO's mission to rebuild Western Europe's infrastructure after WWII. After the military, Jones worked as a welder in oil field pipelines for years and then started his own pipeline company in the 70s. He was a true animal lover, and after retiring, he opened a kennel to help find dogs a new home. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
