PO3 Robert W. Flecksteiner, 22, U.S. Navy, born May 19, 1994, passed away on
November 5, 2016. Flecksteiner served as a Boatswain's Mate on the USS Ronald
Reagan (CVN-76), USS George Washington (CVN-73) and the USS Theodore
Roosevelt (CVN-71). Aboard those vessels, he helped supervise daily operations
and ensure the ship was well-maintained and fully sea-worthy. Flecksteiner was a
great mentor and the Boatswain's Mate of the Watch everyone wanted to work
with if they genuinely wanted to learn. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til
