PO2 Christopher R. Vanselow, 50, U.S. Navy, born in Arizona August 17, 1972, lost the battle within on August 28, 2022. Vanselow served as an Acoustic Sensor Operator with the Anti-Submarine Warfare unit, Patrol Squadron 17. He controlled advanced sonar systems on search & rescue, resupply, and drug interdiction missions worldwide. After the Navy, Vanselow earned a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
