PO1 James E. Reyher, 28, U.S. Navy, born in Ohio March 27, 1984, passed away in a training accident on February 26, 2013. After serving as a Gas Turbine Systems Technician, Reyher became a Navy Diver. He helped repair the USS Ford (FFG-54) and USS Lincoln (CVN-72), was a member of the Battle Damage Repair Team with U.S. Pacom, and then a Diving Salvage Warfare Specialist as was part of the Naval Archeology mission to excavate a WWI German U-boat from the bottom of Lake Michigan.
