In Memory OfPFC Walter L. Elliott

PFC Walter L. Elliott, 84, U.S. Army, born March 14, 1931, passed away from cancer on October 30, 2015. Elliott was assigned to the 52nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion (Automatic Weapons), serving as part of the gun crews. He was drafted in 1952, trained at Camp Roberts, California, and deployed to Korea in 1953 near K-6 Air Base. Walter loved to hunt, fish, and camp, and he built the log house he lived in until his passing. For his service, his grandson ensured his unit's crest and motto were preserved despite lost records. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
