In Memory Of

PFC John D. Frazier, 21, U.S.M.C., born in Oklahoma December 23, 1946, was killed in action on May 15, 1968. Frazier was a Rifleman with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division and deployed to fight in Vietnam. While conducting a combat operation in Thừa Thiên, his unit was attacked by a barrage of heavy enemy rocket, mortar, and rifle fire. Amidst the chaos, Frazier and another fellow Marine were hit by small arms fire and passed away on the battlefield. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
