In Memory OfPFC Everett B. Conrad

PFC Everett B. Conrad, 73, U.S. Army, born August 7, 1917, in Dellwood, Florida, passed away from cancer on August 5, 1991. Conrad served three years with the 380th Field Artillery Battalion, 102nd Infantry Division "Ozarks," fighting through the Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns from late 1944 until Germany's surrender. After the war he came home to Jacksonville, where he married Mary Eunice Veal and raised his sons Dwayne and Robert — known to the next generation as Grandpa Everett. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Til Valhalla, Soldier.
