Officer Tanner W. Peck, 38, Bryant Police Department, born May 10, 1986, lost the battle within on December 13, 2024. A police officer for 13 years across three Arkansas departments, Peck was the steady voice of reason who could de-escalate almost any situation, and he fought back to full duty after a near-fatal crash on patrol. Off duty, he was a devoted dad and gamer who once earned a commendation for stopping traffic to help a turtle cross the road. He put others first, always. He is survived by his wife, Christina, and their son, James. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
