Officer Ryan W. Torres, 27, Fresno Police Department, born September 9, 1997, passed away from cancer on March 21, 2025. Torres was the officer everyone wanted by their side, known for his ability to connect with people and his unwavering positive energy. He approached life with a team-first competitive spirit, mentoring new recruits and sharing his faith with everyone he met, even through illness. Torres is survived by his wife Zoe, his parents Mario and Elizabeth, and his siblings Lance and Zoya. Rest easy. We have the watch.
