In Memory OfOfficer Russell D. Allen

Master Patrol Officer Russell D. Allen, 48, Plant City Police Department, born August 20, 1969, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2017. He served the department for two decades as a patrol officer. A line-of-duty injury forced him into medical retirement, and he carried a brain injury and PTSD afterward. Being a police officer was who he was; at home he was a husband, father, and grandfather. For his service, he was named Police Officer of the Month and thanked by the community he protected. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
