In Memory OfOfficer Jason P. Zdunich

Officer Jason P. Zdunich, 38, San Diego Police Department, born August 14, 1980, lost the battle within on June 10, 2019. An Air Force Security Forces veteran with two Middle East tours, Zdunich then gave 15 years to the SDPD, earning multiple life-saving citations. A devoted dad, he coached his sons' baseball teams even through his own cancer treatment. A natural storyteller who could quote any movie and do any accent, he loved God, his Padres, and above all his family. He is survived by his wife, Danielle, and their two sons.
