In Memory OfMT2 Gary L. Dunn

MT2 Gary L. Dunn, 69, U.S. Navy, born August 18, 1954, passed away from a heart attack on August 17, 2024. During the Cold War, Dunn served as a Missile Technician on USS George Washington Carver (SSBN-656) with the Atlantic Fleet. Aboard the submarine, he maintained weapons systems used as part of nuclear deterrent patrols against the Soviet Union. Dunn was a genuine patriot who felt honored to have had the opportunity to serve our country. He was a devoted father, a loving son, and a great friend. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate!
