MSgt James H. Poss, 85, U.S. Air Force, born October 28, 1936, passed away from health complications on June 13, 2022. Poss was an exceptional 70270 Administration Supervisor, the backbone NCO who kept Air Force commands operational across three wars and five reenlistments, including three volunteer tours in Vietnam where he earned the Bronze Star. Poss never did anything halfway, retiring from the Air Force at 37, then working 26 years in chemical transport, and later deploying to Iraq at 67 as a KBR contractor, driving tankers and commanding convoys. He is survived by his wife Erin, seven children, and fifteen grandchildren. Til Valhalla, Airman.
