MSG Anthony R. Cogdill, 57, Tennessee Army National Guard, Michigan Army
National Guard, born in Tennessee October 29, 1958, passed away from ALS on
August 11, 2016. Cogdill had a very diverse 39-year career. He served with
multiple Engineer, Sustainment, Armored, and Signal units and deployed to
Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. Cogdill is remembered as a true
mentor who always knew how to inspire people to achieve their goals. In his honor,
there is a bridge named after him in his hometown. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla,
